If you got here, you're likely to get an earful or an eyeful of views that are often unique to the South but for a long time have needed expression. I'm born and raised in Louisiana, traveled around the country, lived in California and Texas for a spell, but think of myself as a Louisiana man. But I know, like other people from around here, that sometimes Southerners get stuck or don't have a chance to express themselves about progressive ideas because tradition has been the rule.
